Just brilliant. Great work guys.
I was looking for something whimsical, and there it was-
brillant, love the inspiration
Wow that was nuts! Great job Paul and Nate.
Wow! Holy Amazing!
For those who weren’t there, the intrepid Phoot Campers who worked together on this timelapse happened upon the historic fishing village ruins at China Camp State Park, FOUND that net, and spontaneously created the story you see here. Major credit to Lis, one of the photographer attendees, for happily cozying up with the murky net — for the sake of art.
*claps* This turned out brilliantly! Definitely worth the time in the net.
this deserves the front page!
so much fun to work on.. LIs ty ty ty for not looking at me crazy when the idea of putting the net on you came up! : ) Nate awesome man!

Thanks everyone! Steph – god that is so true. I have updated the description to include my giant pole.

If phoot camp was once a year, and there was a gallery type showing once a year of only that from phoot camp, it would be easy to believe that all of you would be fulfilled by your creations, but better yet it would be a real life place for everyone who WASNT INVITED to have a chance to see what kind of magic you folks can make. Phoot Camp + Phoot Show = cult following.
Hey @clhall! That’s interesting, a few other people have suggested a gallery show as well. I like the idea, looking into it…
I know, crazy non-original idea, but the more people rant for this kind of stuff, the more likely we are to see it happen. Good luck and have fun.
Thanks Curtis! It took about 2 hours to shoot live, then 2 hours to shoot the animation, and about 5 hours to edit…
Fantastic! Wow, really…
Wonderful imaginative work!
This makes me wonder about life,
It feels as if everyone is trapped inside this barrier, also known as fear. This really opens me up to things I have never done before and am now not afraid to do things.
Inspired by you,
